So, this morning we went to have his extra tooth, #9A (that's "A" for awesome by the way), taken out. Koby was quite a bit nervous this morning and also very hungry from his mandatory fast, but still managed to give us a smile.
He was given some laughing gas to calm him a bit and then some anesthesia so that he could take a quick snooze while they extracted the AWESOME tooth. Kev and I were called back just over 30 minutes later. When I asked the nurse how he did, she commented that he was such a good patient and how she wished more children and adults were as great as him. He was a bit swollen when we entered the room and a little bit out of it. The nurse went over instructions with Kev and I, having to stop several times to ask us if we were okay and if we were going to pass out. Apparently neither of us was looking too good. So Kev excited to get some fresh air and the nurse and I wheeled Koby out to the car.
We got him home, gave him some yogurt (it was suggested that we keep him on a soft food diet for 2-3 weeks!) and of course, a slurpee! Judging by the size of that AWESOME tooth...Koby is going to score with the tooth fairy tonight!
