a reason to laugh

On a day like today, we all needed a good reason to laugh. Kevin was diagnosed with pneumonia on Sunday and has been home recovering for the past few days. Koby, just having recovered from pneumonia himself, was up last night with the stomach flu. And Ky, well, he is finally feeling better after his bout with the flu.

So tonight when Ky went upstairs to make what seemed a simple request, we definitely had our reason to laugh.

Kev was resting in bed when Ky came in asking for "Mom's knee pads" for his football uniform. Unsure of exactly which "knee pads" Ky was referring to, Kev simply followed his lead. The "knee pads" were eventually located and father helped son suit up for the big game.




and after Ky needed a little help removing the "knee pads".



I'd just like to state for the record son....what you were looking for are called "shoulder pads" and believe me....that was not it!
