and another one falls

Falls out that is. Koby's 4th tooth, his upper left front, came out at school today. He now has a toothless grin! He is so excited!

Yesterday at recess Koby along with several friends came up with a plan to expel the tooth. The plan was simple: have friends stand still while Koby runs into their shoulders. Hard to believe, but the plan failed.

Last night he requested that we once again pull out the bow and arrow and shoot out the tooth. However, the tooth was still quite attached to his gums and we didn't think it was "ready".

Determined, Koby set out for school this morning with the idea that he would track down one of two teachers known for their abilities to pull out teeth. In the end, he didn't need their assistance. He simply sat twisting his tooth until it fell out.

The bonus is that if your tooth falls out during class, Mrs. VanderLaan gives you a cool tooth necklace to carry your lost tooth in.

So now we have a toothless Koby, tooth necklace around his neck and dollar signs in his eyes as he waits to see what the Tooth fairy has in store for him.
